About my ART

As an artist, “I like to reflect on life in motion, the power of change, and the fluidity of perception.”

What does it take to be an artist?
You have to tap into your creative energy and move it through your art.

Can you describe the moment of breaking an empty space of a canvas?
A burst of energy. It would be best described in animation, when brush touches white canvas,
swirls of light fly from it.

How does process of creativity work for you?
F
irst you have a vision. Then you have to allow yourself to go beyond.
What you feel and experience will help to  form a picture  in your mind, and then
your skills will help you bring it to life.

Where do you get your inspiration?
From music, philosophy, nature and the arts.  From connecting with people,
learning, searching  and discovering the inner feelings of my soul.

What role does your life experience play in your art?
My engineering background gives me structure
Georgia tech design school gave many creative  skills
TV production connects me with interesting people
My intelligence experience helps me see behind the shadows
My ballet and music training let me go beyond...

What do you need to paint?
Concentration of different energies and  emotions,
A passion for the arts and ability to create art
You have to have this inner drive, to channel it and to  allow it to develop.

What is the meaning of your reference to “an artist’s work reflects change with time”?
As an artist journeys through life, I believe their artwork evolves with them.
As perspective becomes deeper with age & experience, they express these changes through
their art.
